AROMA Ha Long Hotel

I loved every minute of my stay, the staff are so friendly, helpful and the heart of this hostel. They stayed to let me in at 4am, arranged my trips and transport at discounted prices. The hostel is very clean, the beds comfortable, good showers nice and warm and powerful. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was amazing. Food is available and the laundry service good. The hostel is in a great location away from noise and close to the beach and walking distance to the town and market. I can't say enough good things about this hostel, they made me smile, because they are so happy and great hosts. Would Highly recommend this hostel for a stay in halong. and will come back again in the future.

Such a beautiful, quiet and very clean hotel. The owner a cool and helpful guy, friendly and welcoming staff. Staff doesn't speak English, but I had fun conversations with the owner. Everything you need is right there. I would definitely recommend and i would definitely be staying here again. Value for money. The owner has cruise and transport/shuttle service options and will organise everything for you. I booked a 6h-day cruise with him and got discount. Check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. You can pay by card (3% fee) or cash. I was able to check-in early without paying extra. You can also leave your bags there if early check-in is not possible. You get a key-card and there is an elevator. The hotel has a coffee shop that serves delicious coffee/tea/drinks and western meals. They have a shop for snacks and you can rent a motorbike (hourly or daily). They have a laundry service payable by kg too. The WIFI was fast and reliable. The room was very spacious with a cupboard, kettle, powerful hairdryer, cups with spoons and glasses supplied. Free water, toilet paper and fresh towels daily. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, with bedside tables and a lot of power sockets to choose from. A big smart TV with Netflix and YouTube. You can open the windows for fresh air. A little table and chair by the window. Powerful aircon. No mirror in room, only in bathroom. Big shower with natural light and a window. Great water pressure and temperature. Adjustable and removable showerhead. Soap, toothbrush, cotton buds, comb, shampoo supplied. I was there in low season, so it was very quiet, but that is what i wanted. Walking distance from the beach. There are very few restaurants or things to do close by, but the main area with the cable cars, etc. is reachable by foot if you enjoy walking, or just a taxi ride away. There are a lot of grab cars in the area, but not grab bikes. The hotel does not have a rooftop or pool.

A great getaway, cheap room rates with good breakfast and coffee. - Beer here is sold at extremely cheap prices, mango smoothies are great. - The bed was very soft and comfortable, the room we stayed in was extremely clean. - Although the staff's English level is limited, they are very enthusiastic in showing me places to explore the beautiful city of Ha Long. - At the hotel, there are tours to visit Ha Long Bay for 1 day, 6 hours and 4 hours. We chose a tour to explore Ha Long Bay in 1 day and get a tour discount when you book that tour at the hotel, it was really great, we were very satisfied with that trip. - The hotel is very close to the beach, you only walk about 5 minutes to the beach. - At the hotel we booked a car for our next destination with many bus and limousine options.

Very decent hostel … clean beds … 2 toilets for big dorms … quite close to the beach .. any trip u wanna book .. u dnt need to do that in advance … they have all the facilities here … they even have money exchange .. took nominal fee .. it was really good

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed staying here. Dorms were basic but clean, comfortable and a locker provided for all of your essential items to be stored in. Good privacy curtain, socket to charge, light and small fan. Comfy beds. Good showers/toilets. Owners was helpful and arranged my Ha Long Bay day trip. The value for money is the best in 7 month’s travel.
